I currently work for the Silicon Valley Business Journal. A good deal of what’s here is work that was done for them. To avoid wearing out my keyboard, from here on out I will refer to them simply as “the business journal”.

A little about me…I love design and I love technology. There is something mildly thrilling about an elegant or clever design solution. This holds true for graphic design, UI, mechanical design — all of it. I look at things as apparently diverse as computer programming and musical composition and see them as design issues. When reduced to that level they’re basically the same thing — just different languages — and it’s never surprising to meet someone who codes by day and plays in a band at night.

I love the outdoors and almost always prefer to be outside. I like cycling, hiking, paddling…I like the mountains, the desert, the ocean. I read books. Printed books. Always have and always will. I love learning and I love keeping up with technology.
